Congratulations to A. R. Rahman for winning the Best Music Composure for the Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
The movie also won the Best Motion Picture. The Best Director and the Best Script.
You can listen to few of the original score here. It is a brillaint album - with the original Rahman touch - do listen to it and also dont miss the movie - it is being relelased in India this week.....its a "real" tribute to my favorite city in the world - Bombay aka Mumbai - my hometown.

yeah watched its screener a week ago...liked the movie..but i don't agree with the script awards...it was too dreamy....but the movie was good so was the score of rehman...rehman rocks ...

A R Rahman has a godly touch ... he is blessed for sure ... i can come up with a never ending list of his music scores that have touched some way or the other ... listen to his latest - "Jiya Se Jiya" ...

I wanna watch the movie.. they are callin it Slumdog crorepati.. Thankgod they didn't translate 'slumdog' as well :)
read abt this movie long long ago n downloaded all the tracks. i just loved them. even last night, i dozed off with my ears plugged into the head phones playing this album.

well...the movie was dreamy and there is a reason for it...have you seen the post award interview of the director....he said that he liked the attitude of bombay and india and the spirit....which was not easy to notice in the west...its like the part that he captures in of the city and then all the gloss, money, bollywood etc all stuck together and working....isnt that a dream
(ps its about bombay and you know i am biased :P)

Well I agree with you...compleltly but I am here in the States and the movie was released on Dec 12th and I saw it on the big screen....so atleast no piracy for me for this movie....tho I am guilty for some but hey if it is a good movie then its worth it...isnt it?

I do not which type of magic he has put in he music of movie..there are so many other hindi music is far better than rehma but i appreciate boyle direction..its screenplay is fantastic..great movie in recent time
